Following a Request for Proposals and public, competitive bid process, we are pleased to announce that the Hamburg, Arkansas city council, in a unanimous vote, has selected ProMed Ambulance to serve the community.
For over a year, city and county officials have worked hard to research and vet sustainable models that will best serve the area. The public-private partnership that is a result of tonight’s decision will build upon the past success of the local system and will help EMS continue to advance care and service throughout the community.
“We are thankful for this opportunity to work with the great men and women who have served their community,” commented ProMed CEO Ken Kelley. “In the coming weeks, we look forward to introducing our company and finding ways to help the community grow. As good corporate citizens, we will work tireless to provide world class care while never compromising our hometown values. Our mission is focused on ensuring the health and safety for all.”
A formal start date will be announced after the final terms of the service contract have been negotiated. ProMed’s integration team will begin work immediately meeting with the EMS personnel, public safety officials, community and healthcare leaders.
